UPDATE: Hwy 210 lane closures have been postponed

Expect delays on Hwy 210 in Brainerd, Baxter, as lanes intermittently close through Sept. 21

BAXTER, Minn. – Motorists who travel Highway 210 in Brainerd and Baxter should plan additional time for travel, and consider alternate routes, as segments of the road are intermittently reduced to a single lane today through Sept. 21.

Motorists should plan for the following:

  • Segments of Highway 210 between Golf Course Road in Baxter and Crow Wing County Road 3/Eighth Avenue NE in Brainerd will be reduced to a single lane Sept. 12 through Sept. 20, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Both directions of Highway 210 between East River Road/1st Street and South 7th Street will be reduced to a single lane Sept. 12 through Sept. 21, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The daytime closures are needed while maintenance crews repair pavement along Highway 210. The overnight closures are needed to complete utility work as part of a larger project to reconstruct and improve Business Highway 371/South Sixth Street in Brainerd.
