MnDOT seeks local input on 2020 Hwy 15 project through Kimball at open house August 7
ST CLOUD, Minn. – Businesses and residents in the Kimball area are invited to attend an open house and provide feedback on proposed plans for a 2020 Highway 15 construction project through Kimball.
The open house will be held Tuesday, Aug. 7, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Kimball City Hall, 1 Main St N.
Open house attendees will be able to learn about the project’s proposed construction plans, including work to be performed and tentative traffic plans. MnDOT staff will be on hand to answer questions and take comments about the project. All input will be considered to refine the final plans prior to construction.
The project is scheduled for the 2020 construction season and will reconstruct Highway 15 between the railroad tracks in Kimball and Highway 55. The project as proposed includes reconstructing the road, new curb and sidewalks, and city utilities replacement.
Open house attendees may also take home information on other MnDOT projects in the area, including a 2019 project that will resurface Highway 15 between Kimball and St. Augusta.
