Hwy 169 Garrison construction open house set for June 20

Construction and traffic changes begin July 9

ST CLOUD, Minn. – The public is invited to attend an open house Wednesday, June 20, to learn about upcoming construction on Highway 169 in Garrison.

The open house will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Garrison city hall, 27069 Central Street.

Open house attendees will be able to learn about the project’s schedule, work to be performed and traffic plans. A project layout will be on display, and MnDOT staff will be available to answer any questions. No presentation is planned, and guests are invited to arrive any time.

The project will restore the northbound Highway 169 bridge located between Highway 18 and the Garrison public water access to Mille Lacs Lake. The Garrison public water access and all local businesses and residences will remain accessible throughout the project.
