Hwy 169 Hassman to Hill City lanes close September 13–15

BAXTER, Minn. – Motorists who travel Highway 169 between Hassman and Hill City will encounter road crews, heavy equipment, flaggers and delays while crews install centerline rumble strips along the roadway Wednesday, Sept. 13 through Friday, Sept. 15.

Short segments of Highway 169 will be reduced to a single lane from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day while crews complete installing the rumble strips.

The schedule is weather dependent.

Centerline rumble strips are a cost effective way to improve safety and reduce crashes on two-lane rural roads. For more information on rumble strips, visit mndot.gov/trafficeng/safety/rumble/index.html.
