Project wraps up

The Hwy 210 project is substantially complete and all new lanes, sidewalks are open. The truck detour lifted July 12. Expect periodic shoulder or sidewalk closures as crews complete any tasks in August:

  • Establish turf or landscape
  • Update any final items - sidewalk, curb, etc.
  • Install street lights
  • Line culverts and film capture all underground pipes for record

Deerwood to Aitkin

WEEKDAY WORKZONE impacts on Hwy 210 Deerwood to Aitkin July 12 to mid-October. Hwy 210 open 3 pm Fri to sunrise Monday. Watch, follow directional signs.

Summary of work

  • Reconstruct from 2nd St. SW to east of 3rd Ave. NE in Crosby, includes new road surface, side street connections, curbs/gutters and sidewalks
  • Resurface from 2nd St. SW in Crosby to west of 6th Ave. SW in Ironton, includes other repairs as needed
  • Improve pedestrian accessibility, includes sidewalks and approach ramps
  • Replace overhead street lights
  • Repair or replace drainage
