Good news!
Willow to Joseph St opens to local traffic July 13

The first new segment of Highway 371/South Sixth Street to open to local neighborhood residents and businesses between Willow and Joseph St by noon Friday, July 13. While the segment is open, some work still needs to be done, and motorists should watch for work crews and equipment in the area.

Current impacts

Locals and visitors will encounter work areas and periodic lane/shoulder or sidewalk closures along the entire roadway during the duration of this project.

  • Local through traffic detour: Road closed Oak St to Joseph St/Willow St. Detour uses Industrial Park Rd, CR 45/13th St SE and Oak St.
  • Truck detour until mid-October: Commercial trucks to use Park Rd/CR 117, Hwy 25 and Hwy 210. Turning radiuses are narrow on local detour; please use the truck route whenever possible

For your safety and ours, please stay out of closed areas, watch for changes, and use signed detours.
