Additional public meeting on Feb 21 to discuss future projects in Hallock

BEMIDJI, Minn. — The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be hosting a public meeting on Thursday, Feb. 21, to further discuss details on a 2022 construction project on Hwy 75 and Hwy 175 in Hallock.

After an initial Open House, MnDOT heard considerable feedback from the public against the proposed plan. In order to develop a more representative solution, MnDOT is seeking community volunteers to take a more active role in evaluating project alternatives.

The meeting will be held from noon to 2 p.m. at Hallock City Hall, 163 Third Street. It will be a deliberative planning session and attendee’s should plan to be there for the duration of the public meeting.

The project is scheduled to take place in 2022 and includes pedestrian accessibility improvements.
