Second detour on Hwy 175 near Hallock begins July 24
BEMIDJI, Minn. — Motorists on Highway 175 will encounter a detour between Hallock and the North Dakota border beginning Monday, July 24 to allow crews to replace the pavement and improve drainage along the highway.
Motorists can detour either north or south along I-29 in North Dakota by following Highway 75 to Highway 171 in St. Vincent or Highway 11 to Robbin. The detour is expected to last less than a month, weather permitting.
A separate detour for a project to replace three bridges located east of Hallock is in effect through September.
Knife River Materials is the contractor for the $2.49 million resurfacing project. The entire project is expected to last until mid-September, weather permitting.
