Open house planned July 6 for Bemidji Avenue resurfacing project
BEMIDJI, Minn. – Residents and business owners are invited to attend an open house on Thursday, July 6 to view details on the resurfacing project from Third Street NW to Seventh Street SE on Highway 197/Bemidji Avenue in Bemidji.
The open house will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Tourist Information Center, near the Paul and Babe statues, 300 Bemidji Avenue North.
Construction is scheduled to begin July 10. It includes pavement removal and resurfacing, storm sewer replacement and pedestrian accessibility improvements.
The project will be done under traffic and motorists can expect lane closures and delays during peak travel times. It is expected to last through September.
