Resurfacing project update, Hibbing

DULUTH, Minn. — Motorists and residents in Hibbing can rest assured that area projects are on schedule.

Paving on Highway 37 is being done today and tomorrow. Next week crews will be paving Highway 169. Once paving is completed on Highway 169 crews will complete shouldering and striping. Once shouldering and striping is complete traffic control will be removed and crews will move back to finish paving on Highway 37.

“We’ve been hearing from a number of people that are concerned about the projects,” said Nancy Graham, MnDOT District 1 engineer. “We apologize for any inconvenience and want to assure you the project will be completed by mid-October, weather permitting.”

Once finished motorists will enjoy a smoother ride surface and safer highway facilities.
