Hwy 169 bridge project begins June 12 between Pengilly and Nashwauk in Itasca County
DULUTH, Minn. — Motorists traveling on Highway 169 between Pengilly and Nashwauk will encounter a bridge project and lane restrictions beginning Monday, June 12.
The project will require temporary lane closures, single-lane traffic in each direction and crossovers. The crossover at Research Road will be narrow and will have tight turns. The speed limit will be 10 MPH in the crossovers.
The bridge project is expected to be completed July 1, 2017.
Motorists should use caution driving in the project area for their safety and the safety of construction workers.
