COVID-19: Cancelation of the remainder of the 2019/20 Technical Certification Schedule
On Monday March 16, 2020 the Minnesota Department of Transportation asked for the cancelation of the remainder of the 2019/20 Technical Certification Schedule to help reduce the possible spread of the COVID-19 virus. The 2019-20 Technical Certification Training Season
Registrations for the MnDOT Technical Certification Training Season open every year on Oct.1 on the Lake Superior College website. Classes are first come, first served. They fill up fast so register early.
About the program
Construction and lab technicians can become certified to perform work on Federal Aid, State Aid and state highway construction projects by successfully completing a technical certification class.
Classes and registration
Class registration starts every year on Oct. 1 and is first come, first served. To register, you'll first need to request a MnDOT Tech ID number.
