American Disabilities Act (ADA) Implementation
Under ADA, transportation rights of way and facilities for public use must be designed and constructed to be accessible to all users. Mn/DOT is required to perform a self-assessment of its public rights of way, policies and standards to determine which areas under the agency’s responsibility meet ADA requirements and which areas need accessibility improvements.
