As a friendly reminder, we want to go over some information about our Managed File Transfer (MFT) site and its use:
Anyone that has an account must log in every 30-45 days to keep the account active.
- After 45 days your password expires
- NOTE: Five days before your password expires, you will receive an automated message from email@example.com warning you reset your password. Please ensure that this email is added to your safe senders list to avoid this going to your junk mail.
- After 60 days of no activity, accounts become locked.
- After 90 days of no activity, accounts are deleted.
The MFT instructions (PDF) have recently been updated to include this information.
If you are the person that has given access to someone else (added their email) and they have been locked out or deleted, a simple fix is to go back into that specific folder, delete and re-enter their email address. This will generate an email to the recipient and then they can update or create a new account.
If you are the person locked out, please start by contacting the original MnDOT person that set up the account. They should be able to update the folder with your email (deleting and re-entering it), which will prompt the system to send you a link and you can update your account.
If you have any additional questions, please contact State Aid at firstname.lastname@example.org.
