About State Aid


The primary objective of the County Road Safety Plans are to identify a specific set of low cost systematic safety projects that are linked directly to the causation factors associated with the most severe crashes on the County’s system of highways.

 

Plans have been completed for ATP 3, ATP 4, ATP 6 and ATP 8 and plans are currently being completed for ATP 1 and ATP 7.

 

The County Road Safety Plans will summarize infrastructure safety projects with an implementation cost ranging from $2 million to $5 million per county based on Local HSIP targets.
