What we do
We maintain MnDOT's Transportation Information System (TIS) database, with data on statewide mileage, traffic and roadway characteristics. TIS includes:
- Trunk highway log point records with info on features that intersect the roadway
- Roadway history file with historical data on the structural profiles of all state trunk highways)
- Construction project log (index of all individual trunk highway construction projects beginning with the first known work)
- Control section book
TIS is also integrated with roadway, bridge, accident, traffic and pavement data.
