Rest Area ListServ
MnDOT established the Rest Areas ListServ back in the summer of 2001. Since that time, it has become a valuable tool for sharing rest area information between federal, state and provincial government staff across the U.S. and Canada. There are over 97 peers from state and provincial rest area programs currently on the ListServ. They include representatives from 31 state transportation agencies, four provincial transportation agencies and several members from the FHWA. Other state DOTs and Canadian Ministries of Transportation are welcome to subscribe.
There is no subscription cost involved. The purpose of the Rest Area ListServ is to discuss public rest area planning, design and maintenance. The list promotes discussion between interested parties, fostering collaboration and creative problem solving. To join, simply email your request to us.
