Mn/DOT has arranged for an exhibitor showcase in conjunction with the 2006
National Safety Rest Area Conference. On October 4-6, 2006, department of transportation
officials, engineers, landscape architects, architects and others involved with
highway safety rest areas will gather in Minneapolis for the conference. We expect
as many as 150 representatives involved with construction, maintenance and operation
of state or provincial rest area programs to attend.
Registration is limited to 20 vendors on a first come, first served basis,
so please don't delay.

Exhibitor Showcase Location
The exhibitor showcase will occur at the Crown Plaza/Northstar Hotel in downtown
Minneapolis.

Exhibitor Registration & Cost
Exhibitor registration fees are:
$675 for registration fees postmarked on or before Friday, August 25, 2006
$700 for registration fees postmarked after August 25, 2006

Mn/DOT must receive all payments before the exhibitor will have access to the
conference and the Exhibition Room.
If needed by the exhibitor, Mn/DOT's vendor identification number is 200 361
023 00. The department's federal identification number is 41-6007162.
What's covered by Registration
Each Exhibitor Registration includes the following items:
- One 10' x 10' area
- 6 foot long skirted table
- One chair
- Electrical outlet
- One complimentary conference registration is included with vendor registration.

Exhibitor Access to Exhibition Room
Exhibitors will have access to the Exhibit Room starting at 3:00 p.m. on October
4, 2006. Mn/DOT will keep the Exhibit Room open until the end of the Social Hour
that day approximately 7:30pm.
Loading Dock
Exhibitors must arrange for use of the loading dock, if needed. Contact Marilyn
Miller from the Crown Plaza at (612) 436-9361 to reserve use of the dock.
The hotel loading dock is located on Sixth Street South, between Marquette
Avenue and Second Avenue South. Vehicle clearance is limited to 12 feet tall and
must be a straight-line truck. Due to the extremely busy location, the building
limits use of the loading dock to 15 minutes during the Monday through Friday,
8am-5pm time frame. If a longer time slot is needed, the exhibitor can arrange
for use after-hours through the contact above.

Additional Fees
The Exhibitor Registration includes one-complimentary conference registration.
For each additional person, please complete a standard registration form and along
with the standard registration fee.

Cancellations
Mn/DOT will only accept cancellations received in writing by 5:00 pm, September
15, 2006. The department will refund the full amount less a $100 handling fee
for each registration canceled. Mn/DOT will not offer any refunds received after
September 15, 2006.
