Project status
May 15, 2007 - Crosstown project begins.
March 2007 - Ames/Lunda/Schafer bids on Crosstown project
June 2006 - Contractor bid letting. No bids were submitted.
March 2006 - FHWA authorizes the project and the project is advertised for bids.
February 2006 - Mn/DOT completes construction plans.
August 2005 - Mn/DOT determines Negative Declaration on the enviromental review.
July 2005 - The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) issues Finding of No Significant Impact for project.
March 2005 - Mn/DOT accepts Appeals Board Recommendations based on denial of municipal consent by the city of Minneapolis.
August 2004 - Mn/DOT receives municipal consent from the city of Richfield.
July 2004 - Mn/DOT publishes environmental documentation.
April 2004 - Mn/DOT submits staff approved layout to the cities of Richfield and Minneapolis.
February 2003 - Mn/DOT hires SRF Consulting Group, Inc. to refine the design concept proposed in 2002, complete the environmental process and prepare final construction plans.
