Public hearing on draft Minnesota 20-year State Highway Investment Plan set for July 29

Public comment period ends July 31

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation will hold a public hearing statewide July 29 to gather feedback on the draft Minnesota 20-year State Highway Investment Plan. MnSHIP establishes priorities for spending projected revenue, identifies planned investments during the next seven years based on these priorities, and details strategies to ensure the effective use of available resources.

The hearing, held from 4 to 5:30 p.m., will originate from MnDOT headquarters in St. Paul, with opportunities for additional public participation via videoconference at MnDOT offices statewide:

Public comments will be accepted until July 31. The draft plan is posted on MnDOT’s website at www.mndot.gov/planning/mnship/. It is also available for review in hard copy at the MnDOT Library, 395 John Ireland Blvd., in St. Paul and at the eight district headquarters located statewide.
