Downtown access ramps along Hwy 61 in Hastings to become one-way
(Roseville, Minn.) – Motorists using the access ramps between downtown Hastings and Highway 61/Vermillion Street will experience a new traffic configuration beginning Tuesday, March 22 and lasting through the end of the project.
With the new configuration both will become one-way ramps. The west ramp will have northbound traffic only between southbound Highway 61/Vermillion Street and Second Street. The east ramp will have southbound traffic only from Second Street to northbound Highway 61/Vermillion Street. Parking on the ramps will also be restricted on Tuesday, March 22 and Wednesday, March 23 as crews perform restriping.
As is expected for the entire project, two-way traffic will remain on the bridge, and access to local businesses and residences will not be affected.
