Mn/DOT Seeks Public Input for Minnesota’s First Statewide Rail Plan
ST. PAUL, Minn. — The public and other stakeholders are invited to provide input on the Minnesota Department of Transportation’s 2009 Comprehensive Statewide Freight and Passenger Rail Plan at a series of open houses and video conference public hearings across the state. A schedule is below.
The plan, which was released last week, is available for review and comment on Mn/DOT’s Web site at http://www.dot.state.mn.us/planning/railplan/.
The public can review a paper copy of the plan at the Mn/DOT Central Office in St. Paul, 395 John Ireland Blvd., or at district headquarters offices throughout the state. To request this document in an alternative format call 651-366-4718 or e-mail ADArequest@dot.state.mn.us.

There will be a brief presentation on the Minnesota Comprehensive Statewide Freight and Passenger Rail Plan planning and development process at each open house and at the public hearing. Mn/DOT staff will be available to answer questions and accept feedback.
