Mn/DOT's 20-year Statewide Transportation Plan available for public review, comment
ST. PAUL, Minn. — Mn/DOT announces that the Minnesota Statewide Transportation Plan for 2009-2028 is now available for public review and comment.
The plan, titled “Your Destination...Our Priority,” sets a long-range vision for transportation in Minnesota and identifies transportation system needs, goals and priorities for the next 20 years.
There are several opportunities to review and comment on the plan:
- Attend one of eight Mn/DOT district stakeholder outreach meetings Feb. 2-20, 2009, to hear a brief presentation and view the 20-year transportation plan (see schedule below).

- Review and comment on the Statewide Transportation Plan online at http://www.dot.state.mn.us/planning/stateplan/.

STAKEHOLDER OUTREACH MEETING SCHEDULE
To learn more about the Statewide Transportation Plan in person and provide comment, citizens can attend Mn/DOT district Stakeholder Outreach Meetings. These meetings will be conducted in an open house format. Brief remarks will be made at the beginning of each meeting on both the Statewide Transportation Plan and the district Highway Investment Plans.
Mn/DOT staff will be on hand to provide additional information concerning the plan’s direction and answer questions.

VIDEO CONFERENCE PUBLIC MEETING SCHEDULE
Mn/DOT will hold a statewide video conference public meeting to solicit official comment on the Minnesota Statewide Transportation Plan. The video conference will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, March 26, 2009. An ASL interpreter will be available at this videoconference.
