Event sponsored by Mn/DOT, the Longfellow Community Council Environment and Transportation Committee, Midway Transportation Management Organizations, Saint Paul Bicycle Advisory Board, Saint Paul Parks and Recreation, Minneapolis Mayor R. T. Rybak, City Council Members Cam Gordon, Sandy Colvin Roy, Gary Schiff, Minneapolis Park Police, Minneapolis Public Works, Minnesota State Bicycle Advisory Committee, Seward Environment Committee, Seward Development Committee, Longfellow Business Association, the Girl Scouts, LCC River Gorge Committee, Longfellow Community Gardens and others.

At six key locations along West River Parkway in Minneapolis and Mississippi River Boulevard in St. Paul:

24th Street: mini golf course with Seward residents
27th Street: short program at 3:30 p.m. with speakers to include Minneapolis City Council members Cam Gordon and Gary Schiff, Mn/DOT bicycle program coordinator Bob Works and Cooper resident Gary Hendlin. The Hub Bicycle Coop will be provide a bicycle-powered smoothie maker
Lake Street: Freddie the Catfish mascot from the National Park Service and a speed wagon that tells cars their speed as they pass
38th Street, Elmer the Elm Park Mascot
44th Street; The Green Guardian
Minneapolis Park Police will have mounted and motorcycle patrols
Bicycle Clubs will be providing rides throughout the event
Mississippi River Boulevard and Summit Avenue activities with "Share the Road" information and lots of fun for the whole family.
