Welcome to attendees of the First International Intelligent Construction Technologies Group (IICTG) Conference. We are glad and excited to host you at MnROAD. Please fill out the form below so we can include you on the tour.

MnROAD is operated by the Minnesota Department of Transportation. It was constructed in the early 90’s to serve as a tool for engineers and scientists to study the factors that affect pavement performance.¬†Throughout the site, thousands of sensors record pavement, soil, and road response data.¬†Environmental sensors continuously capture information about temperature and moisture conditions below, inside and above the pavement surface.

Researchers from all over the world have toured the MnROAD facility and are using MnROAD data and research to improve roads in cold weather climates. Tours usually last up to an hour.

Tour date: Sept. 25, 2017, 2-4 p.m. (CDT)
