Mn/Model Implementation Plan
The Mn/Model project developed a large environmental and cultural resource database and produced three separate types of models: archaeological site probability, archaeological survey probability, and archaeological survey implementation.
These data and models have a wide variety of uses. A number of users, both within and outside of MnDOT, have expressed interest in having the models to consult. Some of the data and all of the models contain sensitive information. Their storage, distribution, and use are governed by the Mn/Model Implementation Plan.
The Mn/Model Implementation Plan considers:
- Where the data and models are stored
- User access to this information
- User training requirements
- Role of models in survey design
- Future enhancements
- Maintaining and updating data and models
- Appropriate user applications of the data and models
