Origin and Destination Survey Maps

From the Highway 8 Scoping Document the origin and destination survey was used to determine travel behavior within the Highway 8 corridor. The survey recorded license plates of vehicles at twelve different roadway locations surrounding and within the study area. The license plate information was input into a database and matched to determine how many vehicles seen at one station are seen at another station.

The surveys were taken on a typical weekday (Wednesday) in July, 2000, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Also, on a typical July weekend in 2000 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
