Croix River Crossing Project Currently Seeking Consultant Services
for Visual Quality Planning Process (Oct 29, 2004)
Mn/DOT is currently seeking consultant services to develop a facilitated
Public Process and Visual Quality Manual for the St. Croix River
Crossing Project. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT)
is a funding and design partner in this project.

agreements reached on new
St. Croix River Crossing (Oct
28, 2004)
The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Wisconsin and
Minnesota Departments of Transportation (WisDOT, Mn/DOT) today
announced that after nearly 18 months of work, the Stakeholder
Resolution Group has reached preliminary agreements on many of
the major issues surrounding a new St. Croix River Crossing.
Public
Hearings Scheduled for St. Croix River Crossing (Sept 7, 2004)
The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Wisconsin and
Minnesota Departments of Transportation (WisDOT, Mn/DOT) will
hold two Public Hearings that will provide an opportunity for members
of the public to give official input regarding alternatives studied
for a new St. Croix River Crossing between Washington County, Minnesota
and St. Croix County, Wisconsin.

Released (August 16, 2004)
The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Wisconsin and
Minnesota Departments of Transportation (WisDOT, Mn/DOT) today
released the Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact Statement
(SDEIS) that studies proposed alternatives for a new St. Croix
River Crossing.

Croix River Crossing Informational Meetings Scheduled (June
7, 2004)
The St. Croix River Crossing Project Stakeholder Group in, cooperation
with Mn/DOT and WisDOT, will hold two public informational meetings
in June to update the public on the project.

Croix River Crossing 2004 Amended Final Scoping Decision Documents
Released (March 29, 2004)
The Amended Final Scoping Document will be released on Monday,
March 29, 2004. These documents include information on four St.
Croix River Crossing alternatives that will be studied in greater
detail in the Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact Statement.
