Stillwater Lift Bridge lift schedule

2020 Schedule

The official Coast Guard lift bridge schedule will resume in May 2020. Outside of the regular lifting season, the bridge will be raised upon 24 hour notice. Requests can be made by dialing 651-234-7110.

Notice will be sent to marinas and other interested parties before the start of the 2020 lift season.

2017 and 2018

The U.S. Coast Guard conducted a test deviation of the Stillwater Lift bridge schedule during the 2017 boating season. Following the end of the 2017 season, the U.S. Coast Guard approved a change to the lift schedule in 2018.

During the test deviation in the 2017 season, the bridge opened daily, every 30 minutes from 8 a.m. until midnight, and upon two hour notice from midnight until 8 a.m. from 8 a.m. Aug. 23, 2017 through 11:59 p.m. Oct. 15, 2017. Public comment was accepted during and after the test schedule period. The comment period is now closed.

During rehabilitation of the Stillwater Lift bridge, efforts will be made to minimize impacts to river traffic during the navigation season.
