  • EB I-494 is reduced to a single lane between Pilot Knob Rd. and Hwy 149/Dodd Rd.
Tue, May 14 through late-summer 2019
  • WB I-494 is reduced to two lanes between Bailey Rd. and Hwy 61
  • WB I-494 is reduced to three lanes between Hwy 61 and 7th Ave.
March 16 through Summer 2019
  • Concord St. is open to two lanes in each direction between Richmond St. and Villaume Ave., turn lanes remain closed.

Ramp closures

  • I-35E ramp and loop ramp to EB I-494 are closed
April 21 through early-August
  • Ramp from WB I-494 to 5th/7th Ave. is closed

  • Improve drainage and construct ponds
  • Construct noise and retaining walls

MnDOT partnered with other organizations to create an interactive program to integrate bridge architecture, design and engineering into a school curriculum.
