Purpose
The project rehabilitated the Nicollet Ave. Bridge and the 2nd Ave. Pedestrian Bridge, extending the life span of both bridges and improving quality for motorists and pedestrians
Description
- Nicollet Ave. Bridge deck was resurfaced and repaired
- Curbs, gutters and sidewalks were replaced on both sides of the bridge
- The 2nd Ave. Pedestrian Bridge was painted, and the stairs and chain link fence were replaced. Guardrails also were updated. (Reopens to peds on Oct. 7)
