• Hwy 95 between Oakview Avenue and County Road 14 (Grand Avenue) and on Forest Boulevard between Oak Street and Cedar Street in North Branch

• Construction start: Mid-June 2012

• Construction completion:
  Late August 2012

• $2-3 million

Traffic impacts

• The majority of the project will be constructed under traffic, but local detours for days at a time may occur in the city of North Branch

Benefits

• This project will replace pavement along a section of Hwy 95 and County Road 30 (Forest Boulevard) and improve traffic flow.
• On Hwy 95 the project will remove four inches of existing pavement and replace it with four inches of new asphalt
• Signal replacement at Hwy 95/County Road 30
• Build a separate left through lane and right turn lanes on Forest Boulevard 

• Build left turn lane and a shared through/right turn lanes on Hwy 95
• Improve rainwater drainage
• On Forest Boulevard pavement will be replaced
• The project will provide for a smoother and safer roadway surface and increase capacity at Hwy 95/Forest Boulevard

• A project open house will be held on Tuesday, May 22 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at North Branch City Hall, 6408 Elm St.
