An open house was held to provide information and allow for commentary on the Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW). The EAW documents the purpose and need for improvements along with the anticipated social, economic and environmental impacts.
Past open houses also provided background information on the study, as well as an overview of the preliminary design and environmental review process. Information of the screening process, different types of roadways and alternatives for a 4-lane divided highway concept were also provided and staff was on hand to answer questions.
