Summary of work

• Hwy 61 was resurfaced with bituminous to provide a smoother ride
• The traffic signal at Buffalo Street was replaced and a flashing yellow arrow signal was added to improve safety
• Six centerline culverts were replaced and additional drainage improvements were made
• Centerline and shoulder rumble strips were added to improve safety
• The signal poles at Headwater Parkway were relocated
• The crosswalk across the south side of Hwy 61 approach was eliminated to improve traffic flow

• $4.5 million
