Project Description
This project is the result of a corridor study that established a long-term plan for traffic improvements on Hwy 36 east of I-694. Washington County and surrounding communities also participated in the study.
Improvements will enhance traffic flow and safety on Hwy 36 and Hilton Trail.
There has been an extensive public involvement process that included numerous meetings with the city of Pine Springs. Residents were also invited to participate by providing their responses to the project design and scope.
Benefits
- Reconstruction of the existing at-grade signalized intersection to be a grade-separated interchange
- Connecting the frontage road on the north side of Hwy 36 over the Gateway Trail.
- Providing a safer environment for motorists on Hwy 36 at Hilton Trail
