Summary of work

The Hwy 120/Hudson Road intersection was reconstructed to improve traffic movement and eliminate unsafe westbound through-movements and left turns to Hwy 120 from Hudson Road. Additional improvements included the addition of an auxiliary lane on southbound Hwy 120 between 3M Road and Hudson Road. A large number of right-angle crashes involving westbound vehicles from Hudson Road crossing Hwy 120 or making a left turn have earned the intersection a spot on the “Statewide Top 200 list” for
intersections with high crash rates, and the project increased safety at this intersection.
