Project Description and Overview

The city of Chanhassen initiated a Phase 1 study identifying deficiencies and potential improvements for the 3.3-mile segment of Minnesota Highway between Lyman Boulevard/County Hwy 18 and the Scott County line. That “Initial Corridor Scoping, Environmental Screening and Preliminary Design Study” has been completed. You can view and download the report in PDF format here

To view the full study, see the current project layout and get the latest information on this project, please see the City of Chanhassen’s web site.

The objective of the study was to develop and evaluate alternatives to preserve the long-term safety, capacity and mobility of the 3.3-mile Hwy 101 Corridor in Chanhassen.

Funding has not been secured for the future improvements to the corridor. For more information on the status of funding, please contact Chanhassen City Engineer Paul Oehme, P.E.
