Work on this section will be completed overnight from 7 p.m. Friday, July 6 to 9 a.m. Saturday, July 7.
Resurfacing on the second section of Hwy 610 between Coon Rapids Boulevard and the Hwy 10 pedestrian bridge begins at 7 p.m. Monday, July 9. Work will be done overnights from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following morning through Friday, July 13.
Motorists will encounter periodic lane closures and short-term full closures of the Hwy each night. During the full closures, drivers should follow an alternate route to bypass the construction.
A thin coating of asphalt is applied to the pavement surface as a protective coating to extend the life of the asphalt pavement. Work is scheduled overnight to minimize traffic impacts. However nearby residents and businesses may experience noise from trucks and sweepers during the project.
