May 17th open house to highlight Hwy 65 Reduced Conflict Intersection construction in Ham Lake, East Bethel
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Please join the Minnesota Department of Transportation for an open house to outline upcoming construction of Reduced Conflict Intersections in the cities of Ham Lake and East Bethel. The open house is scheduled Thursday, May 17 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Ham Lake City Hall, 15544 Central Ave. NE in Ham Lake. Residents and business owners are encouraged to attend to learn more about the project.
Work is scheduled to begin this July at the intersection of Hwy 65 and 187th Avenue in East Bethel. Construction begins next spring on the state’s first signalized RCI at Hwy 65 and Viking Boulevard, also in East Bethel. The project also includes lengthening the left turn lanes at nine locations between East Bethel and Spring Lake Park. All work will be completed by the fall of 2019.
Layouts and graphics of the improvements will be displayed during the informal open house. Representatives from the Minnesota Department of Transportation will be in attendance to answer questions. There will be no formal presentation.
