Upcoming open houses will gather ideas for the future of Hwy 252/Interstate 94 in Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Minneapolis

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Please join us at two open houses later this month to learn about ideas to reduce congestion and improve safety and reliability on Highway 252 between Highway 610 in Brooklyn Park and I-694 in Brooklyn Center and on I-94 from I-694 in Brooklyn Center to downtown Minneapolis. With the public’s input, the cities of Brooklyn Park, Brooklyn Center and Minneapolis, along with Hennepin County and MnDOT will evaluate possible transportation solutions during the environmental process before moving forward with a preliminary design.

Participants will have an opportunity to learn about previous studies and the current project proposal, explore possible solutions and share thoughts, ideas and concerns for this corridor.

The same information will be shared at each workshop. A presentation and discussion is scheduled for 5:45 p.m. Snacks and activities for children will be provided.
