Closures needed for work on new eastbound Highway 610 bridge crossing interstate
Roseville, Minn. – Motorists traveling westbound on Interstate 94 in the northwest Twin Cities this weekend may encounter congestion and delays during work on the new eastbound Hwy 610 bridge crossing I-94 in Maple Grove. Work on the bridge will require lane closures on the westbound interstate between 95th Avenue and Hwy 101 throughout the weekend.
Lane restrictions will begin with a single westbound lane closure (two lanes remain open) at 7 p.m. tomorrow. The westbound interstate will then be restricted to a single lane beginning at 10 p.m. The westbound interstate will remain a single lane until 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 10. Eastbound I-94 will not be restricted.
Motorists are encouraged to drive carefully past the construction crews and watch for equipment and workers moving in and out of the construction zone.
