Hwy 3 road closures in Farmington begin Sept. 23
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Beginning at 7 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23, motorists traveling in Farmington will experience daily road closures on Highway 3 between Willow Street north and 160th Street while crews continue paving the roadway.
All businesses and residences will be accessible during the closure.
Motorists can expect major delays in the project area. Please follow posted detours and obey flaggers.
Weather permitting; the anticipated daily closure is expected to last through Oct. 2.
The Highway 3 construction between Farmington and Empire Township will provide a smoother road surface, extend the life of the pavement, close or modify access to Highway 3, improve drainage and update pedestrian crossings to meet modern ADA requirements.
