Viking Boulevard/County Road 22 Bridge in Wyoming scheduled to undergo repairs starting June 27
Repairs may require the bridge to close for up to 4 days
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists will encounter intermittent lane and bridge closures as crews begin repairing the Viking Boulevard/County Rd 22 Bridge on June 27. The bridge, which spans Interstate 35 was damaged back in May.
Beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, June 27 each weekday, southbound Interstate 35 between the exit and entrance ramps of the County Rd 22 interchange will encounter alternating lane closures. The lane closures will end each day at 5 p.m.
Southbound I-35 will be reduced to a single lane between the exit and entrance ramps of County Rd 22 starting Tuesday, June 28 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Traffic will be detoured up and down the ramps. During this time, the Viking Blvd/County Rd 22 bridge will be closed. There will be no access to County Rd 22/Viking Blvd from southbound I-35. These nightly closures are expected to end by Thursday, June 28.
All work is expected to be complete by early August.
