Nighttime lane and ramp closures to occur on I-94 in St. Paul on June 26
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists will encounter nighttime lane and ramp closures on Interstate 94 in St. Paul starting at 9 p.m. Sunday, June 26. Traffic lanes will be reduced beneath the MacKubin Street pedestrian and bike bridge.
In addition, drivers will not be able to access the following I-94 entrance ramps:
The 5th Street, 6th Street, Dale Street and Western Avenue westbound entrance ramps will close. The Snelling Avenue, Lexington Avenue, Pascal Street and Dale Street eastbound entrance ramp will also close.
All lanes and ramps will reopen by 2 a.m. Monday, June 27.
The closure is necessary as crews set up traffic control barriers and make traffic switches to I-94 to facilitate the work on the new MacKubin Street and Grotto Street pedestrian and bike bridges, which are being rebuilt this summer.
