I-35W/I-35E & I-35 Resurfacing and Bridge Replacement project open house scheduled for May 12 in Lino Lakes

Crews are resurfacing the road and replacing three area bridges

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – The public is invited to learn about the I-35/I-35E/I-35W resurfacing and bridge replacement construction at an upcoming open house.

The open house will take place on Thursday, May 12 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Eagle Brook Church, 7775 20th Ave. N in Lino Lakes. Open house attendees will have an opportunity to find out about project staging and traffic impacts. There will be no formal presentation.

The work is scheduled to start in summer 2017 with completion in fall 2018. Crews are resurfacing six miles of I-35 just south of the I-35 split to about a half mile north of Highway 8 at the Chisago/Washington County line. Construction also includes removing and replacing the Highway 8 and Highway 97 bridges over I-35 and the I-35W bridge over I-35E.
