Two Hwy 169 ramps in New Hope closing May 2 through mid-July

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists in New Hope will encounter two ramp closures to and from Highway 169 in New Hope beginning May 2, weather permitting.

The entrance ramp from Rockford Road to northbound Highway 169 will close through mid-July. Motorists intending to access Highway 169 from Rockford Road will be detoured to southbound Highway 169, to eastbound Rockford Road, to northbound Highway 169.

The exit ramp from northbound Highway 169 to 49th Avenue also will close through mid-July. Motorists intending to access 49th Avenue from northbound Highway 169 will be detoured to westbound Bass Lake Road, to southbound Highway 169, to 49th Avenue.

The closures are needed while crews construct on noise wall along the east side of Highway 169 between Rockford Road and 49th Avenue. Work is scheduled to be completed by mid-July, weather permitting.
