Hwy 5/West 7th Street lane closures in St. Paul begin June 3-5
Crews resurfacing railroad crossing between Alton Street and East Maynard Drive
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists traveling on Hwy 5/West 7th Street in St. Paul will encounter lane closures between Alton Street and East Maynard Drive June 3–5.
The closures are needed while crews resurface the Canadian Pacific railroad crossing.
The westbound lanes of West 7th Street will close Tuesday, June 3 at 7 a.m. Eastbound and westbound traffic will run head-to-head on the eastbound lanes of West 7th Street.
Traffic will then shift from the eastbound lanes to the westbound lanes of West 7th Street Wednesday, June 4 at 7 a.m. Traffic will run head-to-head on the westbound lanes of West 7th Street until all lanes of traffic are reopened Thursday, June 5 at 7 a.m.
MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
