Orange barrels on a highway

Daytime closure planned Saturday, Jan. 25 for northbound Highway 52/Lafayette bridge in St. Paul

ROSEVILLE, Minn.— The existing northbound Highway 52 Lafayette bridge again will close from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25 for concrete work on the new northbound bridge over the Mississippi River east of downtown St. Paul.

The northbound highway will close between Concord Street and 7th Street to allow construction crews to use the bridge as a platform to pour concrete for the median barrier on the new northbound bridge.

Motorists should follow the signed detour using Interstate 494 to Highway 61 and I-94 in order to bypass the closure.
