Hwy 65 open house scheduled for May 21

Resurfacing and safety improvement work between Fridley and Spring Lake Park begins June 11

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – The public is invited to learn about the Hwy 65 resurfacing and safety improvement project at an open house on Wednesday, May 21, at the Fridley Community Center.

The open house is scheduled for 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., in room 109 of the Fridley Community Center at 6085 7th St NE, Fridley.

Project staff will be on hand to discuss construction staging details. Project layouts and detours also will be on display. There will be no formal presentation.

The project features pavement resurfacing. Performing periodic pavement repairs at the appropriate times can greatly increase a road’s lifespan before costly reconstruction is needed.
