Phalen Boulevard/Pennsylvania Avenue lane restrictions begin March 31
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists may experience delays as lane restrictions on Phalen Boulevard/Pennsylvania Avenue in St. Paul begin Monday, March 31.
Both directions of Phalen Boulevard/Pennsylvania Avenue will be reduced to a single lane at I-35E, between approximately L’Orient Street and just east of Mississippi Street.
The lane restrictions are needed for construction of the new northbound I-35E bridge spanning Phalen Boulevard/Pennsylvania Avenue. Lane restrictions/lane shifts at this location are anticipated to occur throughout the duration of the I-35E Cayuga improvement project.
The I-35E Cayuga improvement project aims to reconstruct I-35E between University Avenue and Maryland Avenue, including replacement of the Cayuga Bridge, the Pennsylvania Avenue Bridge and the railroad bridges along I-35E.
